Privacy policy for craftMore
It is important to us at craftMore that you feel safe with how we process your personal data. We are therefore careful to ensure that your information is handled in a secure manner, which follows both laws and our own routines.
In this privacy policy, we describe what personal data craftMore collects about you, how we handle this data and how long it is stored. You can also read about what rights you have and where you can turn to with questions or views.
What do we use your personal data for?
We collect personal data such as your name, address and telephone number in order to handle your orders with us. When your order has been processed, the order information is stored for 12 months – this is so that we can help you with returns, complaints and other inquiries related to the order. If you make a new order within that period, the date of the last order applies. In order for the packages to reach you, we pass on parts of the information to third parties: Poczta Polska, PayPal.
In those cases where you have given us consent to use your personal data for marketing purposes, you will always be informed of this when you have made an active choice.
If you want your personal data to be anonymised, you can send an e-mail to handmadetrek@gmail.com.
How is your personal data collected?
We only store part of your personal data when you are a customer or have chosen to create a customer account with us. As a customer, your personal data is only collected when you have completed a purchase at craftMore. You have a 30-day right of cancellation – that is, if you cancel your purchase within 30 days from the date you placed the order, the personal data we collected through the canceled purchase with us will be anonymised.
Personal data that is released to third parties
When you have completed an order with us, we send your personal data to third parties. This information is only given out to handle payment and delivery. When it comes to payment, your details are forwarded to PayPal. This happens when you choose to pay by invoice, partial payment or direct payment by card through their checkout module. In order for the delivery to reach its goal, we send information such as name, address and telephone number to Poczta Polska, which handle the packages we send out.
How long is your personal data stored?
craftMore strives to never store your personal data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the data. The personal data we collect is processed for different purposes and is therefore stored over different periods of time.
Your customer details with us are stored for 12 months as long as you are an active customer at craftMore. To be classified as an active customer, you must have placed an order or logged into your customer account within the last 12 months. This is stored so that you can make use of personal discounts that are linked to you as a customer. This also makes it possible for you as an active customer to more easily get help regarding previous purchases or other customer service-related questions. If you have not made a purchase or logged in to your customer account for 12 months, your details are automatically anonymised.
The customer information linked to your orders is also stored for 12 months after your last purchase has been completed. This is done so that you can get the best possible help with returns, complaints and other customer service-related questions.
Part of your information is stored in our CRM system for accounting purposes. This information is stored for five years after you have completed your purchase. This takes place in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act and only finance officers have access to this information. This is a legal obligation that all Polish companies must follow.
